Purpose of your Job
As the backbone of our daily operations, this role is designed to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of both front and back-office activities. Your mission is to create a well-organized, people-centered, and inspiring work environment that empowers the Coriolis team, our clients, and partners to thrive.
You will play a key role in office and people management, while also contributing to our cross-functional Teams —helping to shape a creative, supportive, and sustainable workplace culture.


Your Responsibility
  • Lead and manage reception team / front desk management / back-office management
  • Oversee reception and incoming goods/samples processes at any time and proactively take on responsibility
  • Develop smooth and practicable routines for the organization in order to ensure smooth day-to-day business
  • Enhance workflows and drive improvements
  • Hand-out keys and transponders in due diligence 
  • Manage cash desk for smaller expenses
  • Oversee cleaning staff to ensure clean offices and labs to promote an efficient work environment
  • Oversee preparatory accounting 
  • Handle property management services, including maintenance of building 
  • Manage correspondence with service vendors
  • Event coordination and organization
  • Act as back-up for any front or back-office duties
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with any other unit, such as Operations, Tech/LabSupport, HR, IT, Finance etc.
  • Undertake any other admin, customer service and accounts duties as required
  • Be a cultural ambassador and support culture in office to ensure positive work environment
  • Cover other duties as assigned to ensure daily operations
What you need to succeed
  • Apprenticeship as business clerk or comparable
  • Prior experience as an office manager preferred (2-5 years)
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Exceptional communication skills in German and (Business) English
  • Ability to implement procedures in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work well without supervision, decision making skills
